Positive performance of hides and skins

According to data provided by the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE) of Colombia on a preliminary or provisional basis, the SKIN AND LEATHER category in general showed positive variations in the first two months of 2021 in relation to the same months of the previous year.

Its production increased 17.2%, exports 632.7% in volume, and 211.5% in value. Imports followed the same trend, with an increase of 517.6% in volume and 743.4% in value.
