The Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fisheries (MPCEIP) promoted the validation of the Master's Program in Design with a mention in Footwear Innovation, in which CALTU and the Technical University of Ambato participate.
The academic proposal focuses on the formation of professionals who promote the competitiveness of the footwear and leather sector, in addition to generating innovative resources. The Master has 12 subjects that will be taught over a year.
For the president of CALTU -Lilia Villavicencio-, the quality in footwear for export is achieved with innovation in design, and for this the educational aspect is important, as reported from MPCEIP.
