Increases in prices of Brazilian footwear

Imported footwear from Brazil saw a 42.6% growth in value in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the same period of the previous year. Business transactions reached a total of US$ 8.3 million, with an average price per pair of US$ 11.57, resulting in a 21.9% increase.

Furthermore, the volume of imported footwear amounted to 720,900 pairs, representing a 17% growth, according to data provided by SECEX and disseminated by ABICALÇADOS.
