Remarkable entry of Brazilian footwear
As of November 2022, the Ecuadorian market received 4.3 million pairs of Brazilian footwear, for a total of US$ 49.9 million. In this sense, increases of 52.5% in volume and 91.4% in value were registered, compared to the same eleven months of the previous year.
The significant increases are also observed in the comparison with 2019, with positive variations of 48% and 47.3% respectively.
In addition, the average price per pair grew by 25.5%, standing at US$ 11.47, according to figures provided by SECEX, prepared and disseminated by ABICALÇADOS.
