Training on sustainability in the leather sector
In early April, workshops on Eco-design and Sustainable Management (Leather 360) began, promoted by CorpoAmbato, German Cooperation GIZ, and Curtiduría Tungurahua. The training is aimed at the leather industry, promoting innovation and conceptual design under eco-friendly parameters.
The initiative aims for entrepreneurs to achieve ecological production by using resources more efficiently and fewer materials. To achieve this, topics such as Ecological Marketing, Business Management, and Eco-design were addressed.
According to reports to the press, 40 industry professionals participated in the meetings.
