Footwear associations of Latin America will hold a virtual meeting
Through Facebook Live, the next event of the footwear industry will be broadcast, with the presence of the main leaders of associations and representative chambers of Latin American countries. Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela have already confirmed their participation, while awaiting confirmation from other countries.
The virtual meeting will replace the traditional face-to-face forums held annually by the entities of the sector in the countries of the region.
Among the considerations of the call, the organizing entity, the Chamber of Footwear of Ecuador -CALTU- indicates that “it will be an opportunity to analyze the situation of the different industries at the current time of pandemic and share strategies in order to reactivate the sector ”.
The footwear industry in Latin America has suffered a strong impact due to the health crisis, which forces it to reformulate its future in the face of the new reality of the markets, with a view to maintaining its validity, and thus continue to be a valuable contribution to the economy of countries.
The meeting will take place on June 29 and 30 at 7:00 p.m. from Ecuador with free access.
