HERMÈS consolidates its position in France
The luxury fashion brand will incorporate a new leather workshop in France. With plans to be inaugurated in 2025, the establishment will be located in the city of L’Isle-d’Espagnac, and it is estimated that around 260 artisans will be part of the project upon completion.
HERMÈS has an environmental care policy, so the infrastructure will be energy-positive, including solar panels covering an area of 1,800 square meters, aiming to reduce energy consumption.
The company has visibility in 45 countries, through 294 stores and 22 thousand employees globally. Specifically in France, it has 60 training and production centers, in addition to a staff of 13,700 people, according to the press release.
