LOUIS VUITTON online sales explode in China
Electronic commerce grows exponentially and the Chinese spend more and more from their homes on internationally renowned brands. The online acquisition of fashion and high-end products in the local market, rather than abroad, is due to similar prices as import tariffs fall. This was explained by executives of the LVMH group, owner of the French brand, to economic analysts.
Total annual sales in the world of LOUIS VUITTON are around 10,500 million euros and China represents 8% of that volume, with excellent growth projection. To this end, the company ordered the transfer of merchandise from neighboring countries to its e-commerce website in China to meet that demand.
