ADIDAS improves logistics
A new automated distribution center has been launched through a collaboration between ADIDAS and GEEK+. In this regard, the German sportswear company partnered with the renowned firm dedicated to mobile robots for logistics.
The facility is located in the city of Suzhou, China, and spans 139,000 square meters. The center's automation provides logistics with great flexibility and speed, leading industry standards. The storage capacity reaches 10 million pairs of shoes and garments, with daily processing exceeding one million products.
For ADIDAS, this new initiative aims to enhance production efficiency, increase supply chain responsiveness, and improve the consumer experience, as reported by GEEK+.
