7.1% more exports, despite the international panorama

The economy at the international level is marked by doubts in face of Brexit, downward economies like the German and Chinese, protectionist tendencies, trade tensions, and the stagnation of important markets, such as Russia.

Even so, foreign sales of Italian footwear, in the first half of 2019, had a 7.1% growth in value, as reported by Confindustria Moda Research Center in its report on the Italian Footwear Industry -first semester of 2019- for ASSOCALZATURIFICI. In addition to that, the average price per pair grew 8.2% and stood at € 47.55, the footwear association reported.
