In Brenta, footwear created for PayPal Mafia
BETTIO, a footwear manufacturing company located in Fiesso d'Artico in Venice, received an order from a group of entrepreneurs under the PayPal Mafia umbrella. Among the businessmen are the creators of LinkedIn and YouTube, as well as Max Levchin (founder of PayPal) and Elon Musk.
Thus, the Euforia collection was born, which includes luxury leather sneakers entirely produced in Brenta, handcrafted. Additionally, the 20 models were intervened by 14 artists, and the value of each pair ranges from $400 to $1,000.
Among the designs, a QR code was incorporated into the sneakers for the creator of PayPal, while Elon Musk's footwear glows in the dark and features an X on the upper, a letter that is part of the logo of his companies, as reported by the specialized media La Conceria.
