CICEG and government against illegality

At the end of last June, public and private officials were part of the 18th Plenary Session of the Combat Board to illegality organized by the Tax Administration Service (SAT).

The reason for the meeting was to raise awareness of the strategies implemented against illegality, such as contraband and under-invoicing, while dealing with equal competition and work.

The public sector was represented by leaders of the SAT, AGA (General Customs Administration), the Ministry of Economy, etc. While from the private sector, officials from CICEG and CANAICAL (National Chamber of the Footwear Industry), CANAINTEX (Textile) and CANAIVE (clothing) participated, among others.
