Cowboy boot manufacturing grows

Between January and August 2021, the manufacture of Mexican cowboy boots reached a total of 1.7 million pairs. Thus, in relation to the same period in 2020, there was an increase of 88%, since during that year 948 thousand pairs were made.

Compared to 2019, the variation was positive at 4.7%, according to data provided by INEGI in its Monthly Survey of Manufacturing Industry.

For its part, the value of boots sold changed from year to year. In this sense, in 2019 it was 2,260 million Mexican pesos, followed by 1,325 million collected in 2020, until reaching 2,517 million in 2021.
