In the first half of 2020, the volume of Brazilian footwear entered increased 31.5%, compared to the same months of the previous year, due to the purchase of 895,995 pairs. The growth in value was 0.3%, for businesses that reached US $ 5.6 million.
The negative variation was recorded in the average price per pair, which fell 23.7% and was US $ 6.31, according to figures provided by the Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) and reported by ABICALÇADOS.
