Significant increase in footwear imports from Brazil
In the first quarter of the year, Mexico received 1.1 million pairs of footwear from Brazil, with a value of US$ 8.2 million. Compared to the same months of the previous year, significant positive variations were recorded, corresponding to a 53% increase in volume and a 78.3% increase in value, according to data provided by SECEX.
Furthermore, the value per pair increased by 16.6%, reaching an average price of US$ 7.20, as reported by ABICALÇADOS.
