Facing a competitive market that will be part of the agenda for 2024, Fernando Padilla Padilla, President of the Association of Industrial Suppliers of Mexico (APIMEX), stated that certifications, workforce training, and sector diversification will be essential.
Regarding the latter point, the leader informed that 49% of the member companies' exports are distributed among leather, agricultural products, medical equipment materials, adhesives, among others, reaching over 13 destination countries.
In addition, among the various initiatives proposed for the year, a trip to Silicon Valley stands out, where entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to visit facilities such as Google, Tesla, Meta, etc. It is also planned that activities will begin at the Workshop Lab in the first quarter of 2024, dedicated to creating prototypes that simplify the manufacturing of the final product, as reported by APIMEX.
