Footwear and leather goods in specialized congress
In early March, the National and International Congress on Leather Goods and Footwear was held. Organized by the Ministry of Family Economy (MEFCCA), the program included various topics of interest to the manufacturing sector, such as design, materials and components, production, and more.
The event was attended by over 50 members from departmental delegations and specialists from Mexico, Colombia, Panama, and the Dominican Republic, who participated virtually.
Tania González, representing the Directorate of Workshops and Small Businesses, highlighted that participants gained insights into commercial formalities and the characteristics of local and international markets, thanks to the participation of government agencies.
