Manufacturers in search of suppliers
For the high season, Nicaragua's footwear industry will have around 2,000 feet of leather, with raw materials sourced from Brazil and Mexico to support production for the last three months of the year.
Additionally, Alejandro Delgado, president of the Nicaraguan Chamber of Leather and Footwear (CANCUNIC in Spanish), announced plans for some companies from the country to visit the July edition of the Colombian fair IFLS+EICI.
The goal is to secure materials and components while exploring innovative trends that could enhance the quality and style of their products. According to the chamber, the manufacturers are targeting not only the local market but also sales abroad, particularly in Central America.
