Shoemakers request tenders for school shoes

In order to generate more activity in the footwear industry, Alejandro Delgado -CAMCUNIC president- requested that the government tenders for the purchase of school footwear be renewed.

He stated that the sector was promoted previously, thanks to the sale of this type of footwear. This generated that a volume of more than 10,000 families had jobs. In turn, "with acquisitions that exceeded US $ 7 million, bank financing not only had a positive impact on the industry, but also on the entities themselves", he concluded. ​
