Between January-November 2021, Paraguay made purchases of Brazilian footwear for a volume of 9.1 million pairs, this is 8.5% more compared to the same months of the previous year. The value of imports was US $ 36.5 million, which reflects a growth of 59.2%, according to SECEX. In turn, the average value per pair increased by 46.8%, positioning at US $ 4.01.

For its part, Paraguayan footwear sold to the Brazilian market grew 71.2% in quantity, totaling 745,323 pairs. However, both the value and the average value per pair, had decreases of 15.6% (US $ 1.6 million) and 50.7% (US $ 2.27) respectively, reported from ABICALÇADOS.
