Of interest to Argentine investors in the footwear sector
Javier Giménez, Minister of Industry and Commerce, held a meeting with Guillermo Morandini, Vice Mayor of Curuzú Cuatiá (Corrientes, Argentina), and Argentine industrialists in early November.
The meeting focused on the intention to promote investments by the footwear and healthcare sectors. Morandini stated that this initiative is facilitated by the proximity of Argentine cities to Paraguayan territory, providing advantages for the logistics and distribution of footwear.
The official emphasized that the maquila regime in his country is highly attractive due to the low taxes in Paraguayan territory in relation to investments.
