Significant commercial flow with Brazil
The influx of Brazilian footwear reached a volume of 2.8 million pairs in the first quarter of 2023, with total business transactions amounting to US$ 11.5 million, according to SECEX data. There were growth rates of 47.4% and 57.5% respectively compared to the same months in 2022, as reported by ABICALÇADOS.
On the other hand, the average price per pair stood at US$ 4.06, representing a 6.8% increase compared to the US$ 3.80 recorded in the same period of 2022.
As for Paraguayan footwear sold to Brazil, there were 405,240 pairs for US$ 386,185. There were positive variations of 64.6% and 57.3%, while the value per pair experienced a decrease of 4.4%, with an average price of only US$ 0.95.
