COMPRAS A MYPERÚ will acquire national footwear

Faced with the economic difficulties experienced by the leather/footwear industry -according to statements by the mayor of the El Porvenir district, Víctor Rebaza Benites-, the footwear sector will have the opportunity to make sales to the “Compras a MYPERÚ” program.

This was detailed by Rocío Barrios Alvarado -Minister of Production-, who added that more than 4,500 footwear micro-companies will benefit, starting at the end of this year and 2020.

The initiative will promote the formalization and profitability of the footwear industry, in addition to the incorporation of technology and training.
