Micro and small enterprises (MSEs) and suppliers from the footwear and leather sectors have received two calls for proposals from the Ministry of Production (PRODUCE).
With an investment exceeding 69 million Peruvian soles (more than US$ 18 million), the initiative seeks to acquire various products from these industries, including footwear and leather goods. This effort is being led by the Purchasing Execution Unit and the National Program "Compras a MYPErú."
In this regard, Sergio González, Minister of Production, stated: “Through the National Program 'Compras a MYPErú,' we are working hard with MSEs to strengthen the country's economic recovery and improve the productivity of our micro and small enterprises, ensuring the quality of each product they manufacture,” according to the State's official portal.
