Higher quality through technical standards is promoted
The Technical Committee of Standardization of Leather, Footwear and Derivatives created around 138 Peruvian Technical Standards. Thus, the Directorate of Standardization of the National Institute of Quality admitted these standards and now seeks their implementation.
With regard to the footwear industry, shoe labeling was awarded precise guidelines, while other regulations focused on the solidity of color, sizes, and strength of various materials and components.
