Between last November 19 and 21, the IV National Leather and Footwear Congress was held in Lima, in addition to the First Technological Innovation Meeting.
The event has the participation of Walter Valeriano Acevey of CIATEC of Mexico, who gave the seminar "Environmental sustainability of the sector in Latin America", while the panel "Sustainable innovation in the development of new materials in leather and footwear" was in charge of Joaquín Ferrer Palacios of INESCOP of Spain.
At the congress, topics such as the actuality and perspectives of the leather and footwear sector were addressed, in addition to the challenges in relation to imports. The representative of FEDECCAL of Chile -Pedro Beriestain Bosco- spoke at the seminar “The Chilean experience in the leather and footwear sector”.
