Positive expectations about footwear consumption
In its latest survey carried out in the first half of 2022 by WORLD FOOTWEAR, the site specialized in the footwear industry, important projections were obtained about the immediate future of the global sector. The study called World Footwear Business Conditions Survey presents the results elaborated from the opinions of the main references of the international industry -businessmen, leaders, professionals, institutions, specialized press, etc.-.
Regarding the consumption of footwear throughout the world during 2022, those consulted predicted an increase of between 1.5% and 5%.
On average, footwear consumed in Asia would increase by 8.9%; in South America, 7%; in Africa, 6.8%; in Europe, 5.2%; and in North America, 2.5%, according to experts' expectations and as reported by World Footwear.
