VAPESOL defines SBR sole production by injection

The adoption of a production scheme based entirely on injection will mark a new stage in the manufacture of SBR soles, made from styrene-butadiene rubber, at VAPESOL, according to Portuguese Shoes.
The company will implement a specialized plant that will operate with monochrome and two-color processes, integrating innovative methodologies. Projected daily capacity will reach 5,000 pairs from February 2026 and 10,000 from 2027 onwards.
The project is supported by an investment of €1.5 million and an agreement with Tecnirolo/Lary Portugal, a partner with experience in rubber technology, whose contribution will help reduce waste and improve operational efficiency, replacing traditional compression methods.
