10.7% more in the value of imported footwear

Between January and September 2019, 256.6 million pairs of footwear entered the country. The increase in the volume of imports was 1.9% comparatively with the same interim last year, according to figures from the General Directorate of Customs.

The growth also occurred in the value variable, with an increase of 10.7%. Total business was € 2.5 billion and a price per pair of € 10 on average, as reported from FICE.
