Footwear exports on the rise
Exports of Spanish footwear totaled 49.7 million pairs, in the first four months of 2021. In relation to the same four-month period of last year, the variation was positive at 9.8%, according to figures provided by the General Directorate of Customs.
In terms of value, an increase of 7.3% was recorded after reaching € 837 million. In addition, the price per pair was € 16.80 on average, reported from FICE, the Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries.
The main importers of Spanish products were France, with 11.4 million pairs; Italy with 7 million and Germany with 4.6 million pairs.
