Footwear imports, on the rise

The entry of footwear between January and July 2019 was 2.8% higher in volume, compared to the same months last year, totaling 201.1 million pairs. The positive variation was also registered in the value, with an increase of 11.7%.

Imports reached € 1.9 billion, with an average price of € 9.57 per pair, according to data provided by the General Directorate of Customs.
