In the first semester, shoe sales increased
The Kantar's Worldpanel Fashion, focused on consumption, registered 7.8% more in the value of footwear sales during the first six months of the year, compared to the same half of 2018. Sales totaled € 2,128 million and the average price grew 5.5%.
Commercialization is led by women's shoes, which accounted for 48.1% of the total refered to value, followed by men's shoes, with 39.7%. On the other hand, children's footwear had a 12.2% share. Both men's and children's footwear, showed positive indicators in the businesses carried out in the first half, with variations of + 9% and + 3.9% respectively, as Kantar reported.
