Rosana Perán Bazán, President of the European Footwear Confederation (CEC) and the Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries (FICE), and Executive Vice President of the Pikolinos Group, has been confirmed as leader of Spain's footwear industry association. This ratification decision was made during FICE’s Ordinary General Assembly held on November 8, where her continuation in the presidency, a role she has held since 2022, was approved.
On this occasion, Perán stated, "I am immensely grateful for the trust they have once again placed in me to continue representing and defending the interests of the Spanish footwear sector, an industry facing major challenges on which we are already working from our association," according to the Federation.
During the meeting, FICE’s executive committee reviewed the progress made in the strategic plan objectives, which aim to strengthen the identity of Spanish footwear as a distinctive symbol of fashion in Spain and expand its presence in global markets. Among other challenges highlighted in the plan are sustainability and digital transformation, both addressed with a human-centered approach.
