Footwear consumption in Europe would fall 2%
By 2023, an average increase of 0.3% in global footwear consumption is expected, and 0.2% in the domestic order, according to the respondents' answers, collected in the World Footwear's Business Conditions Survey.
Disaggregated into various markets, in North America consumption should grow by 5%, followed by Africa with 4%; domestic consumption in Asia would be located one percentage point below, while in South America, there would be a rise of 1%.
According to the report, Europe is the only area where a drop is estimated, with expectations of -2% on average, World Footwear reported.
