Forecasts on global footwear consumption

Regarding consumption, the World Footwear Business Conditions Survey determined that increases are expected for 2021, regionally and globally.

Particularly in Europe, the increase would be 2% on average. The figure -shared with Africa- is the lowest compared to the growth forecast for South America (+ 5.8%), North America (+ 3.8%), and Asia (+ 2.8%).

In general, for 2021 a positive variation of 2.8% is estimated, according to the survey promoted by APICCAPS. Even so, it is projected that consumption during the next year will maintain indicators lower than those registered before the pandemic.
