In 2023, foreign sales decline
Exports of LEATHER AND ITS MANUFACTURED GOODS totaled US$33 million in the first three months of 2023. Compared to the same period of the previous year, there was a 16% decrease from the previous US$39 million.
In the overall exports of goods with free trade zones, the leather sector had a negative impact of 0.2%, according to data provided by the National Customs Directorate of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, compiled and released by Uruguay XXI.
