The endless trade war with China

In May, the 10% tariff imposed by the United States to US $ 200 billion in Chinese imports increased to 25%. The same happened with US $ 60 billion of US items, which went from having a 25% tariff, compared to the previous 5% imposed by China.

Then, another set of Chinese merchandise valued at US $ 300 billion would be applied a rate of 25%, as raised by the president of the United States, Donald Trump. The items footwear, clothing and accessories were included.

However, in the framework of the G20 in Osaka -Japan- developed last June, President Trump met with his Chinese pair -Xi Jinping-, and from there he decided to suspend the new tariffs and continue negotiations.

Nevertheless, at the end of July, Trump retracted and tensed again the relationship, threatening to impose tariffs, in front of which China responded that it will retaliate.
