Footwear production adapts to the market
To meet market demands, footwear manufacturers in Venezuela have increased the production of semi-leather products, according to Tony Di Benedetto -president of the Venezuelan Footwear Chamber-. By adjusting costs in relation to the quality of materials used, this initiative aims to offer more affordable options, as reported by Unión Radio.
The Chamber stated that in the local market, the average price exceeds US$ 30 for products made entirely of leather, while semi-leather models are estimated to cost between US$ 22 and US$ 23.
