Plan Z to boost the sector

From the Ministry of Commerce, they reported that in the last month of March 48 national companies, producers and traders of footwear, were incorporated into Plan Z promoted by the government to revitalize national production and provide these products to the Bases of Socialist Missions -BMS- and social movements to distribute in the popular sectors of the country.

Last March 1.4 million pairs of shoes were delivered and the production of 2.5 million was confirmed for the following months.

The plan began in 2020 and the national government announced that the resources were approved to acquire 20 million pairs in its first stage.
