Looking for second place in world footwear exports
The leather-footwear sector expects to place second in terms of exports worldwide. Thus, the US$ 21.5 billion in footwear and leather goods planned for 2019, would place it immediately after China.
One of the causes could be due to the possible preference towards Vietnam over China in the footwear sector, due to lower investments in this Chinese industry and in favor of the technology sector, in addition to the current free trade agreements and to be materialized, reported from Prensa Latina.
