Tweed Tartan: Exclusive material for new THOM BROWNE models

An elegant proposal by THOM BROWNE, the renowned American designer, distinguished by its refined lines and unique materials, creating exclusive and sophisticated products for the upcoming winter season.

This time, the material used in his ballerina flats and Mary Jane lines is tartan tweed -Scottish wool fabric- which, in an artisanal and retro style, stands out within the vintage trend.

Tweeds are rough wool fabrics, warm and durable, originally from Scotland, recognized for their checkered structure that evokes a classic elegance. The current materials are produced in Carlisle, England, at a traditional factory founded in 1912.

The shoe designs follow a simple and conventional structure, with ballerina flats featuring their characteristic collar, bow, and matching grosgrain edging. The soles, with a minimal heel, are crafted from bovine leather and are sewn to the upper.

Meanwhile, the Mary Janes showcase the classic cross-strap over the instep, with a gold buckle, and rubber soles.
