Between May 3rd and 5th, ANPIC took place at the Poliforum León exhibition center in Guanajuato. The event was organized by the Association of Industrial Supplier Companies of Mexico (APIMEX).
The supplier fair consisted of 217 exhibiting firms occupying 599 stands. In this regard, the occupancy rate was 22% higher compared to the previous year's edition.
During the event, sales were primarily focused on sectors such as textiles, synthetics, soles and heels, lasts, chemicals, and machinery. It is estimated that the negotiation results will exceed 313 million Mexican pesos (around US$ 18 million) in the short, medium, and long term.
Furthermore, the attendance increased by 10% compared to May 2022, gathering a total of 6,803 visitors. Similarly, a positive variation of 10% was observed among international buyers, coming from countries including the United States, Canada, Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Puerto Rico, Honduras, as well as European countries like Italy, Spain, Germany, and Austria, among 22 participating nations.
The conference program of ANPIC covered topics such as Artificial Intelligence, nearshoring, business models, trends and sustainability. The talks were conducted by professionals specialized in the field.
The second edition of the year will take place on Wednesday 25th, Thursday 26th, and Friday 27th October, at the same exhibition venue in the city of León, as announced by APIMEX.
The fair will revolve around the theme "One Stop Shop," offering a comprehensive range of suppliers of materials, components, accessories, as well as those dedicated to footwear and leather goods production technology.
