EFICA footwear fair. From July it will be online.

Given the new situation of the footwear sector, deeply affected by the health crisis of Covid-19, the usual shoe fair that should have been held on July 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Buenos Aires, was suspended and supplanted for the online edition.

This was resolved by the CIC -Chamber of the Footwear Industry of Buenos Aires- which created a new platform in digital format that allows its members to participate in this virtual fair with a free booth to display their products. The event begins in July, 24 hours a day, so that those interested know the most recent shoe collections, made by the main manufacturers in Argentina.

In addition, the digital system will allow the redirection of virtual visitors to the exhibitors' own sites, where they can make contacts, manage meetings and schedule national and international shipments. In this way, the scope becomes exponential and personalized, with the advice and monitoring of the CIC.

The new tool will allow buyers from all over the country and abroad to learn about the proposal of Argentine footwear for the Spring-Summer 2020/2021 season.

Thus, those interested, from the different places of residence and trade, without costs and travel times and allowance, will be able to start their purchases from the exhibiting manufacturers.

Finally, the Chamber of the Footwear Industry of Buenos Aires reported that “this novel and useful service aims to preserve national companies and their sources of employment. With the purpose of supporting a productive sector that suffers the ravages of a critical situation, which must be overcome with new contacts and businesses, in order to maintain Argentine work".
