Footwear and Manufactures Manufacturers, and Industry Suppliers

The Colombian Association of Footwear, Leather and Their Manufactures Industries (ACICAM) reported the celebration in live format of IFLS+EICI -International Leather, Footwear, Leather Goods, Supplies and Technology Fair.
The initiative was carried out by the National Board of Directors of the entity, which determined the holding of the fair between Wednesday 2nd, Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th June 2021, thus generating an opportunity to promote greater activity in the sector.
In this sense, the collections destined for the first half of 2022 in finished products, which will be part of IFLS, will be exhibited at the Corferias of Bogotá. Local exhibitors will be joined by countries such as Italy, Mexico and Brazil. In turn, at EICI, footwear, manufactures and clothing producers will be able to find the proposals for Spring/Summer 2022 in leathers, materials, components and technology.
For this live edition of the Colombian fair, the participation of 240 exhibitors is expected, who will receive more than 4 thousand local visitors and 50 from abroad, as reported by ACICAM.
The exhibition will be complemented with the Hall of Innovators, the Fashion Trends area of the association, the leather room and various conferences of interest to the sector. Together with IFLS+EICI, CREATEX will be held, the exhibition of supplies for the textile industry.

Peru - May 17th-19th, 2021
A new digital edition of EXPO DETALLES PERÚ will take place between Monday 17th, Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th May, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., Peru time. The virtual platform will allow visitors to know the offer of materials, supplies, fashion and technology for the footwear sector, added to the presentation of trends.
Exhibitors at EXPO DETALLES PERÚ VIRTUAL 2021 will have the opportunity to have a stand that is simple and easy to create, to connect with potential buyers.
They will also be able to access videoconferences, business roundtables and training meetings.
In order to maintain the space for contacts between exhibitors and buyers, the platform will remain active as a commercial directory, once the May edition is over.
Footwear, Tanneries, Supplies, Machinery and Services - Ecuador
The edition scheduled for July of the FICCE 2021 International Footwear, Leather and Components Fair, depends on the evolution of the health status and the development of vaccination. This was reported by the National Chamber of Footwear (CALTU), in addition to reiterating the need to hold the event, as a way to make the industry visible.
The sector is part of the context of the country, once again affected by a wave of infections. The shoemakers suffer the impact of almost twelve months of inactivity, with a slowdown in production and a decrease in sales of between 65% and 70%.
Currently, Ecuador is in a process of political and government transition, since the new president-elect Guillermo Lasso will assume his functions on May 24th.
In this sense, CALTU sent the incoming government a project to restart the footwear industry, made up of 3,700 factories that generate more than 118,000 jobs. An academic plan for the development of the value chain was included.
