FUTURMODA strengthened its ties with the Valencian Institute of Competitiveness and Innovation (IVACE+i), facilitating the possibility for companies to internationalize and access advisory and financing services.
With the aim of companies from the Valencian Community increasing their presence in global markets, this collaboration included business meetings and trade missions. Thus, FUTURMODA consolidates its role as a platform for international expansion.
To address current topics, the Spanish supplier fair incorporated the Expert Forum, focusing on sustainability in the production of components for footwear, the effects of artificial intelligence in the industry and the circular economy.
In the FUTURMODA Green Planet area, the fair highlighted the commitment to sustainability by presenting a wide variety of eco-friendly products by 45% of the exhibiting firms. In this space, recycled textiles from palm tree prunings, biodegradable materials and products with international environmental certifications were exhibited.
In 2025, FUTURMODA is scheduled for March 12th and 13th. According to the president of the fair, this last edition showed the growing interest of manufacturers, and it is anticipated that the next event will continue to strengthen the role of the industry in the international market.
