The International Exhibition of Leather, Components and Machinery for Footwear and Leather Goods will hold its 45th edition on April 7th and 8th, 2021, at the Alicante Exhibition Centre -IFA- in Elche. Thus, in 12 thousand square meters of exhibition space, the proposals for the Spring/Summer 2022 season will be exhibited.
In each edition, FUTURMODA has an approximate participation of 500 exhibiting companies, with Skins, Leather and Tanned Hides; Chemical products; Heels, Soles and Lasts; Synthetics and Fabrics; Components such as yarns, ornaments and silk screen printing; Machinery and Technology.
The call for the fair is mostly national, to which is added 34% of the total exhibitors, from countries such as Italy, Portugal, China, Brazil, Turkey, France and Germany, as detailed from the organization of the event.
Regarding the attendance, the exhibition receives about 7 thousand people in each version, who have the possibility of knowing the novelties in fashion and technology trends, with more than a year in advance.
Due to the global health crisis triggered by coronavirus, the last edition of the international supplier fair in Spain, which had been scheduled for October 2020, was suspended. In it, the trends for Autumn/Winter 2021-2022 were to be exhibited.
Given this impasse due to force majeure, the Spanish Association of Components and Machinery for Footwear (AEC), has concentrated its efforts and expectations for the next live edition in April 2021, where it hopes to consolidate the event in the calendar of international sector fairs.
