In February 2022 MICAM will consolidate its definitive rebirth

Siro Badon, president of ASSOCALZATURIFICI (Italian Shoe Manufacturers) and MICAM Milano was conclusive: “We are already working to present a next February edition that is even more important, in terms of exhibition and offer than last year, to return to pre-covid standards as soon as possible. "

These words confirmed the objective of the fair organization to put all the effort and commitment so that MICAM Milano regains the brilliance, interest and call that distinguished it as the world's largest footwear event.

After the positive results of last September 2021, in which the fair was a success above all expectations, after a long period of pause imposed by the pandemic, the international footwear exhibition is preparing for a new challenge .

Scheduled for Sunday 20, Monday 21 and Tuesday February 22, 2022 with extended hours until 7:00 p.m. the first two days of the event and until 6:00 p.m. on the third day, MICAM Milano will once again give momentum to the market thanks to its qualified and diversified offer, with its consolidated formula: footwear for men, women and children. The exhibited products will contemplate satisfying the expectations of the buyers who always renew their demand. The numerous collections for the coming Autumn / Winter 2022-2023 will once again be the protagonists of an event ready to bring together buyers from all over the world with the excellent proposal of Italian and foreign companies.

The Italian fair awaits a greater participation of manufacturers and brands of footwear from different countries in Europe, America and the Middle East, attentive to the profound changes that are taking place in the supply of footwear, compared to traditional Asian suppliers.

Parallel to the exhibition, the MICAM X events will take place, the knowledge and training platform that is characterized by being a unique moment of exchange of opinions and that will provide innovative formulas around the latest trends, sustainability and innovation. While they will be waiting on the MICAM X stage, the streams of the seminars of the last edition that can be followed online at https://micamx.themicam.com/ and accompany the MICAM Milano Digital Show that will be online until November 15, 2021.

In addition, in February 2022, the space dedicated to new talents "Emerging Designers" will once again be presented, bringing together designers and footwear creatives from around the world, selected by a jury of excellence.

For ASSOCALZATURIFICI, sustainability is an absolute priority, and in this sense it has created a project for associated and non-associated companies, which will be launched in February 2022, to participate in a process of accreditation and positioning in national and foreign markets, in order to to gain competitiveness with eco-friendly solutions. For this, the entity has created its own VCS sustainability brand -Verified Certified Steps- that will be awarded to companies that meet the requirements of this subject.

The operation implies the self-analysis of the entrepreneurs in a particular way, while the verification will be in charge of an independent certifying institute.

For 2022, the first edition of the year of MICAM Milano will take place from February 20 to 22 at the Fiera Milano Rho in Milan, while the second version will be from September 18 to 21, in the same place, thus returning to 4 days fair.
