The DIGITAL SHOW of PREMIÈRE VISION was held between September 15th and 16th, 2020. It was in replacement for the live fair that had been announced for the same date. The measure was taken by virtue of government regulations that prohibited events whose attendance exceeded 5,000 people.
Thus, through the PREMIÈRE VISION Marketplace, the DIGITAL SHOW made its first version presenting the trends for the Autumn/Winter 2021-2022 season, in addition to creating a space to share knowledge. In the context of health and economic uncertainty, the organizers considered that the platform was able to satisfactorily meet the demands of the sector, registering a massive participation in the event.
In two days, more than 1,675 virtual exhibitors from 43 countries took part in the exhibition. The proposals were aimed at the segments of Hides and Skins, Synthetics and Textiles, Yarns, Accessories and Components, Denim, Designs and Smart Creation for the manufactures industries, such as footwear, leather goods, clothing and related. The number of products exhibited exceeded 43 thousand.
The exhibition offer was complemented by 15 Digital Talks, an activity that attracted the attention of 3,635 people; while fashion trends were addressed in 4 seminars and 8 forums.
The event exceeded 19,500 visitors from various origins. The countries most represented were France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Spain, Turkey, the United States, Japan, Germany, the Netherlands and South Korea, among the 120 participating nations.
The virtual event DIGITAL SHOW, within the PREMIÈRE VISION Marketplace, will remain in force throughout the season, according to the report issued by the organization.
In the future, the Spring/Summer 2022 season will be presented in February 2021, in a hybrid format -live and digital- as stated by the general director of PREMIÈRE VISION, Gilles Lasbordes.
