Complications when it comes to importing certain supplies and components are affecting the footwear industry. According to the Noticias Argentinas agency, the supply is far from being the usual, although it cannot be classified as a lack or insufficiency of supply.
The manager of the Chamber of the Footwear Industry (CIC) -Laura Barabás- pointed out that there are complications to enter some supplies for uppers, for example, but it is a difficulty that can be managed. On the other hand, importers of finished products are the ones who have the greatest problems.
