After 25 years, Ilse Guimarães leaves the Brazilian suppliers association
Through a statement of February 8, 2021, the Brazilian Association of Component Companies for Footwear, Leather and Manufacturing -ASSINTECAL-, informed its associates and the press in general, changes in its organizational structure, related to the departure of Ilse Guimarães as superintendent of the entity. “They were 25 years of action on different fronts of growth and sector development. The decision was of a personal nature and was agreed with the association's management,” said the notification.
“In addition to being a great professional and much loved colleague, Ilse was responsible for the level of representation that ASSINTECAL achieved, since it was recognized as a relevant national and international agent. She defended the incorporation of fashion as a differentiation of Brazilian products, sustainability and innovation ”, stated President Gerson Luis Berwanger, highlighting Ilse's participation in the creation of INSPIRAMAIS, the only Brazilian suppliers' show dedicated to design, innovation and sustainability in Latin American materials, and the internationalization of the sector.
